New Publication Format and Article Structure Effective from Vol. 7 No. 3 (September 2026)

The Editorial Board of INSPIREE: Indonesian Sport Innovation Review is pleased to announce the implementation of a refreshed publication style beginning with Volume 7, Number 3 (September 2026).

This update is part of the journal's continuous commitment to improving publication quality, transparency, research integrity, and compliance with international publishing standards adopted by leading Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals.

What's New? 1. Modern Article Layout

Starting from Vol. 7 No. 3 (September 2026), all published articles will feature a redesigned publication format with a cleaner, more professional, and reader-friendly appearance. The new layout enhances readability across desktop and mobile devices while improving metadata presentation and article navigation.

2. Mandatory "DECLARATIONS" Section

To strengthen transparency and research integrity, every accepted manuscript must include a dedicated DECLARATIONS section immediately before the References. This section consists of the following components:

  • Ethical Approval
  • Consent to Participate
  • Consent for Publication
  • Author Contributions (CRediT Taxonomy)
  • Funding
  • Conflict of Interest
  • Data Availability
  • Acknowledgements
  • Generative AI Disclosure

These declarations align with international best practices recommended by major scholarly publishers and research ethics organizations.

Purpose of the Update

The implementation of these changes aims to:

  • Improve transparency and accountability in scientific reporting.
  • Strengthen compliance with international publication ethics.
  • Increase consistency in manuscript presentation.
  • Support indexing requirements of international bibliographic databases.
  • Enhance the overall quality and credibility of published articles.
For Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to INSPIREE are encouraged to download and use the latest Author Template and carefully follow the updated Author Guidelines. Manuscripts submitted without the required DECLARATIONS section may be returned for revision before entering the peer-review process.

The Editorial Board appreciates the continued support of our authors, reviewers, editors, and readers. We believe these improvements will further strengthen INSPIREE as an internationally recognized journal in sport science, physical education, coaching, and sport innovation research.
